Amona Printing is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: update this if you become VAT-registered.]
2. These terms and your legal rights
Please read these terms before you order. They explain how we make and deliver your order and what happens if something goes wrong.
If you are buying as a consumer, you have legal rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms reduces or removes your statutory rights.
If you are buying for a business, some of the consumer rights described here do not apply to you, but any rights that cannot legally be limited still apply.
3. What we sell
We sell two kinds of products:
- Standard products: items made to our standard specification that are not personalised to you.
- Personalised and custom-made products: items printed with your artwork, text, names, logos or other designs, or made to your own size, material or specification. Most of our products fall into this group.
The difference matters for cancellation rights (see section 9 and our Refunds & Returns Policy).
4. Placing an order and quotes
- When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This does not yet mean we have accepted it.
- We accept your order when we confirm it by email after our artwork check, or when we dispatch it, whichever is sooner.
- If we cannot accept your order (for example because the artwork cannot be printed to an acceptable standard, the content is not something we can print, or there was an obvious pricing error) we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
- Some products are only available by quote. A quote is valid for 14 days from the date we send it, unless it says otherwise. A quote becomes an order only when you accept it and pay.
5. Your artwork and content
- You are responsible for making sure you own, or have permission to use, everything you ask us to print, including logos, images, text, fonts and trademarks.
- We will not print content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that we reasonably consider offensive. If we refuse an order for this reason we will refund you in full.
- You are responsible for the spelling, wording, phone numbers and other details in your artwork. Please check them carefully before you submit and when you approve any proof.
6. Our artwork check
Every file is checked by a real person before we print. Placing an order does not mean your artwork goes straight to production.
- We check that your file is suitable for printing: for example size, resolution, bleed, placement and colour mode.
- If we find a problem we will contact you before printing and explain your options, such as supplying a new file or asking for our design help (which may be charged separately, and we will always tell you the cost first).
- Production does not start until any artwork issue has been resolved.
- Our check is a technical print check. It is not a proofread of your text unless we have agreed this with you.
7. Colour, size and finish
Printed colours can look different from colours on a screen, and different materials take colour differently. Small variations in colour, position and size are normal in printing and are not a fault. [OWNER TO CONFIRM: if you want to state a placement or size tolerance, for example "print position may vary by up to X mm", add it here.]
This does not affect your rights if a product is not of satisfactory quality, not as described or not fit for purpose.
8. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable quantity discount shown in your basket.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Extra print positions, premium garments, rush production and design help cost extra. We show these charges, or quote them, before you pay.
- Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before accepting the order.
9. Changing or cancelling an order
- Personalised and custom-made products. Because these are made to your specification or clearly personalised, the 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply to them once they have been made. If you contact us before printing or production starts, you can cancel and we will give you a full refund. Once printing or production has started, this does not affect your rights if the order is faulty or incorrect.
- Standard products. If you are a consumer you can usually cancel within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason. See our Refunds & Returns Policy for how.
- To make a change to your order, contact us as soon as possible. Once production has started, changes may not be possible.
10. Production and delivery
- Each product shows an estimated production time. This is separate from delivery time, which starts once your order is dispatched.
- Production starts once your artwork has passed our check.
- Delivery options, prices and estimated times are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy and shown at checkout.
- Estimated times are not guaranteed. If we do not deliver within 30 days of accepting your order (or within any date we specifically agreed with you), consumers may have the right to treat the contract as ended and receive a refund.
11. If something is wrong with your order
If your order is faulty, damaged, printed incorrectly by us, or not as described, please contact us. We will deal with it in line with your legal rights, which may include a reprint, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. See our Refunds & Returns Policy for details.
12. Our responsibility to you
- If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
- If you buy for a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption. [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: any cap on liability for business customers.]
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If one happens we will contact you as soon as possible, and you may cancel and receive a refund for anything not yet provided.
14. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: confirm this fits where your business is based.] If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at ririta255@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it.
